On July 9, 2010, Giving Hand attended the Youth Social Development (YLSD) Summer Camp and introduced the mission and achievement of Giving Hand to our future youth leaders from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Bobbi Fisher, Director of Giving Hand, was invited to give a speech on the background of Giving Hand, inspiring and encouraging youth leaders to contribute to their communities in the future. Bobbi explained to the audience on how Giving Hand operates and partners with major companies and local charities. She also emphasized the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility in this ever changing corporate world. Students were provided with forefront information in sustainability and social entrepreneurship and were greatly inspired and motivated by Bobbie’s speech. YLSD Summer Camp is jointly organized by the Beijing Normal University, National Taiwan University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and the Hong Kong University. Thirty-two students were selected from the four mentioned universities to participate in the camp.
